At Marilu, every piece is chosen with care, and we want its journey to you to be just as thoughtful. Because we work with a range of artisan vendors, shipping times may vary slightly by product.

Processing & Shipping Times

  • Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days.
  • Standard delivery typically takes 5–10 business days once shipped.
  • Certain handmade or made-to-order items may require a little extra time — we’ll note this on the product page whenever possible.

Multiple Vendors, One Order

Since our collection comes from different makers, your order may arrive in separate packages. Don’t worry — you’ll only ever pay one shipping fee at checkout, and we’ll keep you updated along the way.

Shipping Rates

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout and based on your order total and delivery location.
  • Occasionally, select items may qualify for free shipping — keep an eye out for that note on the product page.

International Shipping

At this time, Marilu ships within the United States only. We hope to expand in the future as our community grows.

As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link so you can follow its journey home to you.

Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love every piece you bring into your home. If something arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, we’ll make it right.

If Something Isn’t Right

Please contact us within 30 days of delivery at info@shopmarilu.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund—whichever makes the most sense for you.

Defective or Damaged Items:

If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we cover the return shipping cost and will issue a full refund or replacement.

Non-Defective Returns / Change of Heart:

Because many of our goods are handmade, made-to-order, or sourced from artisan communities, we do not accept returns for change of mind. This helps reduce waste and honor the uniqueness of each piece. That said — if something truly isn’t working out, reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to help.

Small Imperfections = Part of the Story

Slight variations in color, texture, or finish are part of the beauty of handmade and small-batch items. These are not considered defects — they make your piece uniquely yours.

Vendor & Custom Exceptions

Some items, like Sorelle Gallery Fine Art prints, are made-to-order or personalized. These items cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged in shipping. Please save all packaging and email us with photos — a replacement will be sent.

Final Sale Items

Sale items, gift cards, and any personalized or made-to-order products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless damaged in transit.

Returns Process (When Approved)

In most cases, you won’t need to return the item. If we request it back, we’ll provide clear instructions and a return shipping address. Please note, we do not provide prepaid return labels at this time.

Refund Timing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
